Thank you infamous Kennedy Curse. You finally caught up with the most deserving Kennedy!

Ted Kennedy was college cheater (twice expelled), and despite having had some higher education, never advanced beyond the rank of Private in the US Army. Yet he is deified by the media now as the greatest Senator ever.

I watched scores of people file past his casket in Massachusetts, with honor guard standing vigil, and wondered just what in the hell kind of Kool Aid these people have ingested. This is a guy who would, if he were an ordinary Massachusetts resident, just be getting out of jail for killing Mary Jo Kopechne.

This is a creep who spent most of his privileged life as a drunken sot who never outgrew the lifestyle of the idle rich-boy his bootlegger and mafia-connected father provided for him and the rest of the 'boys.' Somehow he caught the public service bug and bought himself a Senate seat instead of doing the rest of the country a service by simply buying a case of bootleg gin, taking a cheap hotel room somewhere, and spending the rest of his life making the capillaries in his nose explode from binge drinking.

This was a man whose end-of-life care cost more than the Kennedy Compound is worth yet we're supposed to rename government health care bills in his name so we can be told to take pain pills and go off the woods somewhere to die when our brain cancers - - or our parents infirmities - - get as advanced.

This is a man who pulled every imaginable string to get his accused rapist nephew off the hook and through medical school. Gee, I wonder how the nephew feels about government health care?

This is a man who drove the first wife to alcoholism and she should have been the big hint that something was not quite right with the fat boy in the first place when she divorced him. Meanwhile, he engaged in 'waitress sandwich' sex at local restaurants with his ass-clown buddy, Senator Christopher Dodd.

What on earth is wrong with people in New England? Kennedy, Kerry, Markey, Sanders, Dodd, Leahy and a host of other socialists eroding the constitution and our economic system and threatening our liberty and freedom. What is more unbelievable are the people in the Senate. "My old friend" eulogies from the likes of that frog face Orin Hatch and screws loose McCain?

"The Lion of the Senate?" Please. What the hell does that mean? He'll eat you if you cross him?

Now that he is gone he continues to cost the American taxpayer. The propane that is consumed every year to keep the eternal flame at his grave site at Arlington National Cemetery (not bad for a former Private First Class with no war experience) is not only a direct cost, but the indirect cost of the 'carbon footprint' is enormous over the next end-of-time. Where is Al Gore on that one, I wonder? Hey, maybe the Kennedy trust fund is buying carbon credits on his behalf. If it is not, it should be made to.

No telling who the brainless dolts of Massachusetts will choose next to replace this jerk. I'm sure it will be another totalitarian wannabe. Maybe even break out into song with a few bars from Camelot!

I guess the all those Senators are going to have to find a new Lion to lionize, back slap, and screw waitresses with.

Do You Want Liberty or Tyranny?

Something is Very Wrong In America Right Now.

The most lasting memory of the old Pogo comic strip is the famous line, “we have met the enemy and it is us.”

We have elected a group of US House and Senate representatives that collectively have failed the American people. They have gerrymandered home districts and amassed so many special interest dollars that they all but insure their perpetual reelection. The people they represent are either too busy or (dare I say it?) too stupid to understand that these people are not interested in liberty, freedom, or smaller government and they have no belief that their constituents have a clue about anything.

Liberal and conservative, democrat and republican have spent us into oblivion. Our standard of living is declining, our cost of living is rising, and soon, inflation will be kicking our collective butts that will make the Jimmy Carter years look like the bush leagues.

We have unelected officials (some from the former elected ranks) like Ray LaHood. He is the Department of Transportation tool who can’t oversee a $2 billion dollar cash for clunkers car program. Dealers, who depend on cash flow for their survival, foolishly fronted the money for these dubious government subsidies expecting reimbursement from the government. Except the government isn’t paying off! Oh, but don’t worry, help is on the way! Right, the check is in the mail. This sounds like a job for that moron, Joe Biden to fix.

Which leads one to wonder if this isn’t a preview of how a single payer health care system (i.e. socialized medicine) is going to work. Are doctors going to perform operations that government Ray LaHoods are going to reimburse them for and expect them to stay in business? The issue isn’t going to be about health care, or doctors, or even the mechanics of how this whole socialized medicine program is going to actually deliver. It is all about government control of our lives: How we begin them, how the government will let us live them, and how the government will end them.

One of the best parts from the movie, Forrest Gump, is just when Captain Dan (the double amputee sitting atop the mast of the shrimp boat cursing God for his condition) finished shouting at God and wondering where he was . . . God showed up in the form of a devastating hurricane.

Now, as the politicians are acting like the pigs in the book, Animal Farm, the people have evidently shown up! And they are mad as hell. Ostensibly over the direction of health care. But the underlying heartburn they have is with a government out of control. A government that is too big, too arrogant, and unmindful of the treasures of individual freedom, liberty and smaller, less intrusive intervention in their lives.

I only wish the people had showed up with pitchforks and lighted torches to complete the picture for these clueless, blood fart politicians who are, incredibly, fighting back with bully boy tactics, IRS threats, Snitch hot lines to report ‘fishy’ people against government health care, and union thugs showing up at town hall meetings to intimidate or beat the snot out of anybody who dares stand up to their government and voices objection to the direction it is taking us.

Black Panther thugs stand outside polling places with nightsticks to intimidate voters. The government doesn’t even bring charges. Elections are stolen outright and nobody gets arrested or goes to jail. The government gives organizations like ACORN billions of our tax dollars to organize these thugs and steal the elections and continues to dole out more to them in “Stimulus Money.”

When the people are afraid of their government, that is tyranny. When the government is afraid of the people, that is liberty.

Something is very wrong with America right now. Which is it we want? Liberty or tyranny?

The Obama as Joker poster should be celebrated!

The Joker as portrayed by Heath Ledger in the Batman movie was a double-crosser and not unwilling to use extreme muscle to clear the field of opposition to get his way and rule Gotham. Sound familiar?

The Joker poster showing a deadpan Obama with the lipstick and white kabuki makeup is a great example of ridicule if you listen to the people who doctored up a picture of George Bush the same way and published it in Vanity Fair magazine. What a great laugh, huh? But hey, it was humor-based, therefore okay.

But not everybody sees the Obama Joker poster the same way. Read what a so called professional journalist, Steve Mikulan of LA Weekly wrote about it:

. . . the fears of the art lovers who champion the Obama Socialism poster are all about race - about losing their skin privileges, about the possible airing of old crimes and grievances committed against blacks. How else can you explain the mad surge to buy guns, to deny Obama's American birth, the teary prediction that the White House is ordering up concentration camps, and the rock-solid belief that Obama's lab-coated bureaucrats are coming to kill our grandmas? Who's the real Joker here? And whose deck is that race card being played from?

The liberals felt good that America voted in a black guy as president. But now, in the face of this poster, need to pull out the race cards to justify attacks on anybody who disagrees with Obama’s socialist and totalitarian politics, or his place of birth, or even how he looks. Because the socialist libs can’t condemn all those closet racists out there because Obama was actually elected at the hands of a majority of white voters, so now these same people are racists because they question his place of birth, they buy guns, and they have fears over Obama ordering the US Army to train to quell domestic disturbances. None of which can be remotely traced to Obama’s race except in the minds of those who see disagreement and ridicule as racism. What a stretch!

The poster depicts Obama made up like the Joker with the caption, “Socialism,” at the bottom. Not, “Black Guy,” not “Spearchucker,” not the dreaded “N-word.” No, socialism is now the new right wing synonym for the N-word. That stretches the limits of human logic thinner than pulled salt water taffy.

Fellow travelers like Steven Mikulan are evidently imploding because ordinary Americans are ridiculing and making a statement about the president's character.

Mikulan wants to know who the real Joker is here. As if millions of people can’t appreciate the dripping ridicule in that poster? What are you going to do Stevie-boy? Wear out your dialing finger calling all of them in to the White House Snitch Line?

Frankly, I hope Mikulan’s lungs fail. Or his hands become palsied and he can’t type anymore. And that he is given placebos for it at the nearest Obama Clinic. Aaahhhh Haaaaa Haaaaaa. Isn’t that funny? No? Gee, it worked for Wanda Sykes when ridiculing the likes of Rush Limbaugh.

Ain't humor and ridicule great?

Who Is Joe Sestak?

Pennsylvania Congressman Joe Sestak is a retired Navy admiral that upon reading his record one would wonder for which socialist country he served. His military career was seemingly marked with a whole lot of staff jobs in Washington, DC, and not a lot of time at sea where warfighters are groomed and tested.

Aside from a couple of trips to sea where one of his ships won some loving cup in a ship competition (no combat), Sestak apparently rose through the ranks thanks to one administrative staff job to the next.

From November 1994 to March 1997, as a senior officer, he was the Director for Defense Policy on the National Security Council staff at the White House, where he was responsible for national security and defense strategy, policies, programs, inter-agency and congressional coordination and regional political-military advice.He had to have passed a Democrat Bill Clinton litmus test to hold that position.

After a tour as a commander of a Destroyer Squadron, Sestak scurried back to the warm cocoon of the Navy Staff in Washington, DC in the Strategy and Policy Division analyzing the economic value of U.S. defense spending.

After September 11th, he became the first director of the Navy Operations Group (Deep Blue), which sought to redefine strategic, operational and budgetary policies in the Global War on Terrorism. Sestak claims it was his job to revamp the Navy. In 1995 Admiral Michael Mullen, the new CNO, thought better of newly promoted three-star admiral Sestak and saw fit to fire him before he even had enough time in grade to retire as a three-star admiral.

Sestak has a lot of awards, including the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, two Legion of Merit awards, two Meritorious Service Medals, Joint Service Commendation Medal, three Navy Commendation Medals and the Navy Achievement Medal. Sestak's biography lists no decorations for combat. There is a difference between awards and decorations.

He also has a PhD in political economy (whatever that is) and government. Apparently he opted for Navy paid-for school than combat time.

Getting himself elected to congress to continue his lust for the privileged life as a potentate, his track record looks like this:

Nobody will work for him for very long. Described as temperamental and demanding more than a dozen of his staffers quit in 2007. Sestak has employed more than 60 staff members since 2007.

Sestak has a 100% rating from NARAL and evidently supports abortion on demand and partial birth abortion.

He voted for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ("the Stimulus Bill") and all of the pork in it.

Sestak voted for the Waxman Markey American Clean Energy and Security Act (Cap and Trade) program. The same program the CBO estimates will cost two million jobs and which some organizations estimate will tax every family in America by $3,400 per year

An environmental wacko and global warming alarmist, he enjoys a 100% rating from the League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club. He voted for the Climate Stewardship Act (H.R. 620) and the Safe Climate Act.

Sestak wants American’s guns confiscated and enjoys a 100% rating from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, and an Admiral Mullen-like "F" rating from the National Rifle Association.

He is a sponsor of the Employee Free Choice Act and card check: The bill to give the same union thugs who beat up and threaten ordinary Americans who show up at Obamacare town hall meetings the free pass to do the same to non-union to intimidate them into unionizing workplaces all over the country.

I am sure Joe Sestak is nice to his wife and child. I am sure he is a dutiful son to his parents, and he might even go to church on Sunday.

Other than that he appears to be a danger to individual liberty and freedom.

Pennsylvanians, please use your heads. He is running for the US Senate.

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell Unhinged

In a recent MSNBC interview with Peter Schiff, a serious potential senatorial candidate to run against Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut interviewer Lawrence O’Donnell came unhinged.

He used Schiff, the CEO and President of Europe-Pacific Capital, as a bridge game dummy hand by pummeling him with a diatribe interview that would flunk an undergraduate journalism student in a heartbeat. See for yourself on YouTube:

Schiff is one of the sharpest economic knives in the drawer. He predicted the current economic crisis and exactly how it unfolded more than three years ago. When it comes to figuring out how to get out of the mess, doesn’t it stand to reason that Schiff might have some insight and good ideas? Well, we didn't learn anything about that because O'Donnell was too busy interrupting and shouting Schiff down.

By bullying Schiff for nearly eight full minutes O’Donnell, an apparent left-wing ideologue and Obama cultist, ranted like a ten-year old: Shouting democrat talking points and non-sequiturs and stomping all over Schiff’s attempts to answer questions.

I’m glad to see this. It should be embarrassing to O’Donnell but he’s beyond that. His face is an embarrassment much less what he says. It should embarrass MSNBC, but they have lost all pretense of being a worthy news organization. Why I am happy to see this happen is this interview shows even the most casual observer the statist media outlets are starting to come unglued. The liberal agenda is starting to sputter.

Yes, ranting O’Donnells and lying pundits and journalists who think they are pundits and liberal journalists turned Obama government ministers of information ought to adequately demonstrate that things are not quite right in the land of the free.

It shows when the going gets rough for Obama and the liberal agenda the elitist O’Donnell types go postal on anybody who might disagree with the orthodoxy or who may even have some ideas about how to solve some giant economic problems (as Schiff surely does). It’s all in the open now. Let's give Chris Dodd a boost by belittling a possible opponent.

Transparency has certainly come to MSNBC and the rest of state-run print and broadcast media. And what we are seeing is ugly and dangerous.

Congress: The Weakest Link In The Constitutional Chain

This month there are scores of town hall meeting that members of congress are supposedly holding to hear from their constituents about health care and other issues being foisted on the American people by Barack Obama and his cult faithful. Some of them aren't even showing up because they are afraid of being raked over the coals by some very passionate and agitated voters.

Most of these political elites have not, have never, and never will actually read the bills they pass.

Today we have a president who, under the slogan of "Hope and Change," has revealed himself to be a naive socialist who knows only one way to get things done: Muscle!

Witness the union thugs who are showing up at these town hall meetings to 'keep law and order' and provide cover for the representatives and senators who are desperately trying to convince you that government single payer health care won't cast granny into the Soilent Green cracker plant instead of paying for a life saving operation. Desperately trying to convince you that the medical care you now get will somehow continue while the government eats up all of the available capital to try (emphasis on try) to cover the costs that will rise into the trillions. Desperately trying to avert your eyes to the fact that our standard of living is on the down slope and will bottom out once the government takes it all over.

We are going to be told what cars to drive. Regulation are already being cooked up to tell homeowners that they have to make their houses "green" before they can be sold to someone else. Or made "green" while you're living in them. This isn't in deference to the environment. This is meant to control you and how you live. This is sheep herding and the union and ACORN border collie dogs are helping to gather the stragglers out there who seem to have it in their heads that liberty and freedom are somehow alive and well in America.

In fact, they are worse than dogs - - they are the modern day version the Brownshirt that helped Hitler solidify power.

So where is my check and balance from Congress? Out to lunch!

Things have evidently gotten so bad in the halls of congress that your freedom is being salted away by your representatives for promises of federal money for community centers, midnight basketball programs and federal money for phony jobs programs and other perk goodies that these people think are worth trading away your right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for. They are being bought - - plain and simple.

To get along in the halls of congress these people feel like they have to go along.

Let's get one thing perfectly clear: The only reason your congressman or your senator is where he or she is is because they got at least one more vote than the other guy did. They're not necessarily smart, bright, possess common sense or have your best interests in mind. They have only to exhibit a knack for acquiring more votes than their opponents. And that is our our fault.

Anybody who votes for a democrat and some of the republicans today is voting for a socialist agenda. The pressure Obama and his minions put on these people to go along would make Tony Soprano and his wiseguys look like pussies!

It is long past time for Americans to take to the streets to express their outrage at what is happening. It's the American way. It has always been the American way ever since the revolutionary war. If your representative doesn't smell the message then he or she must be made to swallow the message. Either that or get ready to go home.

I am tired of politicians who tell me to vote for them because they will go to Washington "and make a difference." This cliche is so hackneyed I want to vomit when I hear it. What I long to hear is that somebody wants to go to Washington to deconstruct the federal morass that infringes on our constitutional rights. Somebody who will tell an Obama totalitarian type to go to hell.

People today are afraid of the federal government. It should be the other way around. When the people are afraid of their government, that is tyranny: When the government is afraid of the people, that is liberty.

It is time to make our elected representatives afraid of the power of the people to oust them. Especially when they're acting in their own or party interests rather than the interests of the people they represent.

If they don't, then I am afraid we all better start practicing our arm salutes and goose stepping.
